Amaa filmmakers can now submit movies for 2019 award consideration

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has officially opened the submission process for the 92nd Academy Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in filmmaking for 2019.

From now until the deadline, eligible filmmakers can submit their feature films, short films, and documentaries for consideration in various categories, including:

  1. Best Picture
  2. Best Director
  3. Best Actor and Actress
  4. Best Supporting Actor and Actress
  5. Best Original Screenplay
  6. Best Adapted Screenplay
  7. Best Cinematography
  8. Best Film Editing
  9. Best Production Design
  10. Best Costume Design
  11. Best Makeup and Hairstyling
  12. Best Sound Mixing and Sound Editing
  13. Best Visual Effects
  14. Best Documentary Feature
  15. Best Documentary Short Subject
  16. Best Animated Feature Film
  17. Best Animated Short Film
