Agenda for new year party

Here's a suggested agenda for a New Year's party:

Pre-Party (Before 8:00 PM)

• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Guests arrive and mingle
• 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Appetizers and drinks are served
• 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Welcome speech and introduction of the party hosts

Main Party (8:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

• 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Music and dancing
• 9:00 PM - 9:30 PM: Food and drinks are served
• 9:30 PM - 10:30 PM: Games and activities (e.g. karaoke, trivia, etc.)

• 11:30 PM - 12:00 AM: Countdown to midnight and champagne toast

Midnight Countdown (12:00 AM)

• 11:55 PM - 12:00 AM: Final countdown and countdown to midnight
• 12:00 AM: Champagne toast and celebration of the new year

Post-Midnight (12:00 AM - 2:00 AM)

• 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM: Music and dancing
• 1:00 AM - 2:00 AM: Farewell and thank-you speech, and guests depart
