International Competitions

• The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) has announced the dates for the 2023 African Men's and Women's Volleyball Championships, which will take place in Egypt from June 24 to July 2, 2023.
• The CAVB has also confirmed the participation of 12 teams for the 2023 African Women's Volleyball Club Championship, which will be held in Tunisia from March 27 to April 2, 2023.

National Team News

• The Nigerian national team, the Falcons, has been preparing for the 2023 African Women's Volleyball Championships, with a training camp in Abuja, Nigeria.
• The Egyptian national team, the Pharaohs, has announced a 14-man squad for the 2023 African Men's Volleyball Championships, with experienced players like Ahmed Abdelhay and Mohamed Ibrahim included.
• The Tunisian national team, the Carthage Eagles, has been training in preparation for the 2023 African Men's Volleyball Championships, with a focus on improving their defense and serving.

Club News

• The Egyptian club, Al-Ahly, has won the 2022 African Women's Volleyball Club Championship, defeating the Tunisian club, CS Sfaxien, in the final.
• The Nigerian club, Prisons FC, has been crowned the 2022 Nigerian Volleyball League champion, after defeating the defending champions, Kada Stars, in the final.

Youth and Development
