Adidas has indeed ended its sponsorship deal with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), the governing body of track and field athletics. The deal, which was initially signed in 2016, was set to expire in 2029.

The decision was reportedly made due to the IAAF's handling of the doping scandal surrounding Russian athletes, as well as the organization's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adidas had been the IAAF's official partner since 2016, providing financial support and equipment to the organization. The company had also been involved in various initiatives to promote athletics and support athletes around the world.

The IAAF has since announced that it will be seeking a new sponsorship deal to replace the one with Adidas.
