Adding new phyiscal adapter on vsphere

To add a new physical adapter on vSphere, you'll need to follow these steps:

Prerequisites:

  1. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to configure the vSphere host.
  2. Make sure the physical adapter is compatible with the vSphere host and the virtual machine (VM) you want to connect it to.

Step 1: Connect to the vSphere Web Client

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to the vSphere Web Client URL (e.g., https://your-vsphere-host.com/vsphere-client).
  2. Log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Hosts and Clusters view

  1. In the vSphere Web Client, click on the Hosts and Clusters tab.
  2. Select the host where you want to add the new physical adapter.

Step 3: Configure the Physical Adapter

  1. Click on the Configure tab for the selected host.
  2. Click on Hardware > Network Adapters.
  3. Click on the Add button to add a new network adapter.
  4. Select the type of physical adapter you want to add (e.g., Ethernet, Fibre Channel, etc.).
