Add new user to blogspot account
To add a new user to a Blogger account, follow these steps:
Method 1: Add a new user through the Blogger dashboard
- Log in to your Blogger account and go to the dashboard.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Users" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Add new user" button.
- Enter the new user's email address and password. You can also add a display name and role (admin, editor, or author).
- Click on the "Add user" button.
Method 2: Add a new user through the Google account settings
- Log in to your Google account and go to the Google Account settings page.
- Click on "Security" from the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to the "Signing in to Google" section.
- Click on "Connected apps & sites".
- Click on "Manage third-party access".
- Click on "Blogger" from the list of connected apps.
- Click on the "Remove" button next to the Blogger account.
- Click on the "Add or remove approved apps" button.
- Enter the new user's email address and click on the "Add" button.
- Set the user's role (admin, editor, or author) and click on the "Add" button.
Additional steps
- To give the new user permission to manage the blog, you need to add them to the blog's "Authors" list. To do this, go to the Blogger dashboard, click on "Settings", and then click on "Authors". Click on the "Add new author" button and enter the new user's email address.
- If you want to restrict the new user's access to specific blog posts or pages, you can use Blogger's built-in permission system. To do this, go to the Blogger dashboard, click on "Settings", and then click on "Permissions". Click on the "Add permission" button and select the specific posts or pages you want to restrict access to.
Note: The new user will receive an email invitation to join the blog, and they will need to accept the invitation to gain access to the blog.
