Add new shape to smart art

A fun task!

To add a new shape to SmartArt in Microsoft Office, follow these steps:

For Microsoft Office 2010 and later versions:

  1. Open your document or presentation and go to the slide where you want to add the new shape.
  2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "Illustrations" group and then click on "SmartArt" in the drop-down menu.
  4. Select the type of SmartArt graphic you want to create (e.g., "Process", "Cycle", "Hierarchy", etc.).
  5. Click on the "Add Shape" button in the "Design" tab of the SmartArt Tools pane.
  6. In the "Add Shape" dialog box, select the new shape you want to add from the list of available shapes (e.g., "Arrow", "Diamond", "Hexagon", etc.).
  7. Click "OK" to add the new shape to your SmartArt graphic.

For Microsoft Office 2007:

  1. Open your document or presentation and go to the slide where you want to add the new shape.
