Add new location on instagram

To add a new location on Instagram, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Add a location to a post

1. Open the Instagram app and go to the post you want to add a location to.
2. Tap the three dots (⋯) on the top-right corner of the post.
3. Tap "Edit" and then "Add Location".
4. Type the name of the location you want to add in the search bar.
5. Select the location from the search results.
6. Tap "Done" to save the location.

Method 2: Add a location to a story

1. Open the Instagram app and go to the camera view.
2. Take a new photo or video, or select one from your camera roll.
3. Tap the "Location" icon (a pin) on the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Type the name of the location you want to add in the search bar.
5. Select the location from the search results.
6. Tap "Done" to save the location.

Method 3: Add a location to your profile

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2. Tap the "Edit Profile" button.
3. Scroll down to the "Contact Information" section.
4. Tap "Add Location".
5. Type the name of the location you want to add in the search bar.
6. Select the location from the search results.
7. Tap "Done" to save the location.

Note: You can only add locations that are already listed on Instagram. If the location you want to add is not listed, you can suggest it to Instagram by tapping "Suggest a Location" and filling out the form.
