Add new footer section in word

Here's how to add a new footer section in Microsoft Word:

Method 1: Using the "Insert" tab

  1. Open your Word document and go to the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on the "Footer" button in the "Header & Footer" group.
  3. Select "Edit Footer" from the dropdown menu.
  4. A footer section will be inserted at the bottom of the page. You can now type or insert content into the footer section.
  5. To add a footer to all pages, go to the "Design" tab in the ribbon and check the box next to "Link to Previous" to link the footer to the previous section.
  6. To add a footer to a specific page, go to the "Page Layout" tab and select "Footer" from the "Page Setup" group.
