Add new footer section in word
Here's how to add a new footer section in Microsoft Word:
Method 1: Using the "Insert" tab
- Open your Word document and go to the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Footer" button in the "Header & Footer" group.
- Select "Edit Footer" from the dropdown menu.
- A footer section will be inserted at the bottom of the page. You can now type or insert content into the footer section.
- To add a footer to all pages, go to the "Design" tab in the ribbon and check the box next to "Link to Previous" to link the footer to the previous section.
- To add a footer to a specific page, go to the "Page Layout" tab and select "Footer" from the "Page Setup" group.
Method 2: Using the "Page Layout" tab
- Open your Word document and go to the "Page Layout" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Footer" button in the "Page Setup" group.
- Select "Edit Footer" from the dropdown menu.
