Add a new phone to my email account
To add a new phone to your email account, you'll need to follow these steps:
Method 1: Add a new phone to your email account through your email provider's website
- Go to your email provider's website (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.).
- Sign in to your email account using your username and password.
- Click on your profile picture or your name in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Settings" or "Account settings".
- Scroll down to the "Phone" or "Devices" section.
- Click on "Add phone" or "Add device".
- Enter your phone number and follow the prompts to verify your phone number.
- You may need to enter a verification code sent to your phone to complete the process.
Method 2: Add a new phone to your email account through your phone's settings
- Go to your phone's settings app.
- Scroll down and select "Accounts" or "Email".
- Select your email account from the list of accounts.
- Tap on "Add account" or "Add email account".
- Enter your email address and password.
- Select "Phone" or "Device" as the type of account you want to add.
