That's exciting news!

Access Bank, one of the leading banks in Nigeria, has introduced WhatsApp banking, a new way for customers to access their bank accounts and perform various banking transactions using the popular messaging app, WhatsApp.

With this innovation, customers can now use WhatsApp to:

  1. Check their account balances
  2. Request mini-statements
  3. Pay bills
  4. Transfer funds
  5. Buy airtime and data
  6. Get information on their account activities

To use WhatsApp banking, customers need to download the Access Bank mobile app, register for WhatsApp banking, and then link their WhatsApp account to their Access Bank account.

This new service is designed to provide customers with a convenient, secure, and easy-to-use platform to manage their finances, anytime and anywhere. With WhatsApp banking, customers can now access their accounts and perform transactions without having to visit a physical bank branch or use the internet.

According to Access Bank, the WhatsApp banking service is secure and uses the same level of security as the bank's mobile app and online banking platform. Customers can also use the service to report lost or stolen cards, and to request for card replacement.
