Aba new bishop
You're referring to the new Bishop of Aberdeen!
The Right Reverend Dr. Anne Dyer was consecrated as the new Bishop of Aberdeen and Orkney on September 24, 2020. She is the first woman to hold the position and the 13th Bishop of Aberdeen and Orkney since the diocese was established in 1153.
Bishop Anne has a strong background in ministry, having served as a priest in the Church of Scotland for over 20 years. She has also held various leadership roles, including being the Convener of the Church of Scotland's World Mission Council and the Chair of the Scottish Episcopal Church's General Synod.
As the new Bishop of Aberdeen, Bishop Anne is committed to serving the people of the diocese and promoting the values of the Church of Scotland. She has already begun her ministry, visiting parishes and meeting with local communities to get to know them better.
It's exciting to see a new leader taking on this important role, and I'm sure Bishop Anne will bring a fresh perspective and energy to the position!
