A short prayer for a new born baby

Here is a short prayer for a newborn baby:

Dear God,

We welcome this precious gift of life, this tiny and precious child, into the world. We thank you for the miracle of their birth and for the joy they bring to our lives.

May this child grow up to be a kind and compassionate person, with a heart full of love and a spirit that is strong and free. May they always know your love and guidance, and may they use their gifts and talents to make a positive impact on the world.

We ask that you watch over this child, and keep them safe from harm. May they always be surrounded by love, and may they never know a day without the warmth of your presence.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

This prayer can be said by the parents, grandparents, or any other loved one who is present at the birth or soon after. It's a way to express gratitude for the new life and to ask for God's blessing and protection on the child.
