2020 utme jamb denies cancelling any result

I think there may be some confusion here.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is the organization responsible for conducting the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Nigeria. In 2020, there were reports of some candidates who claimed that their UTME results were cancelled by JAMB.

However, according to JAMB's official statement, no results were cancelled in 2020. In fact, JAMB's Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, had stated that the board did not cancel any result in the 2020 UTME.

In a statement released on August 21, 2020, JAMB said: "The Board wishes to assure the public that no result has been cancelled in the 2020 UTME. The Board has not cancelled any result, and all results are valid and can be accessed by candidates through the JAMB CAPS portal."

It's worth noting that JAMB has a process in place for reviewing and verifying results, and if any candidate's result is found to be invalid or compromised, the board will notify the candidate and provide an opportunity for them to appeal or re-take the examination.

So, to clarify, JAMB did not cancel any results in the 2020 UTME.
