20 stolen vehicles recovered lagos ogun
According to reports, the Lagos State Police Command and the Ogun State Police Command have collaborated to recover 20 stolen vehicles in a joint operation.
The operation, which was carried out on Tuesday, saw the police teams from both states working together to track down and recover the stolen vehicles, which were hidden in various locations in Ogun State.
The recovered vehicles include 15 cars and 5 trucks, which were stolen from various locations in Lagos State. The vehicles were recovered in the following locations:
- 5 vehicles recovered in Abeokuta, Ogun State
- 5 vehicles recovered in Sagamu, Ogun State
- 5 vehicles recovered in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State
- 5 vehicles recovered in other locations in Ogun State
The police said that the operation was a result of intelligence gathering and surveillance, which led them to the locations where the stolen vehicles were hidden.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, commended the police teams from both states for their efforts in recovering the stolen vehicles. He said that the operation was a major success and a significant blow to car theft in the region.
The police also arrested several suspects in connection with the stolen vehicles and are currently being investigated.
