Unidentified gunmen believed to be militia on Tuesday morning invaded Kadarko, in Kiza development area of Nasarawa State and killed no fewer than seven people, including an old woman.
Punch reports that the entire members of the Tiv community in Sarkin Noma area of Kadarko have deserted their home for the fear of being attacked by yet-to-be-identified militia gunmen.
There is also the mass exodus of the Internally Displaced Persons comprising the aged and women with their children moving personal belongings to wherever they could get a shelter.
Also, pregnant women were not left out, as most of them who could not travel with their large family rushed to IDP camp in Kadarko for the refugee.
It was gathered that most of the Tiv houses were completely burned down by suspected militia gunmen in the area.
One of the survivors, Mr. Raymond Emberga, who spoke with Punch reporters, appealed to the governor for total deployment of the military personnel in the area.
