The 25-year-old will perhaps get to be a regular on the field again after signing a one-year deal with an option to extend with the Tshwane-based side.

Ndlovu became an outcast at the Buccaneers thanks to stiff competition in the midfield where the club used to field him.

With the Soweto giants having made reinforcements with new signings this transfer window, they saw no need to keep him.

“A great move for me and a great move for my career,” Ndlovu said as per KickOff.

“I’m very excited to join SuperSport. At the age of fifteen, I had the opportunity to come and play for SuperSport but I wasn’t picked up. So I’m very grateful to now be here at SuperSport.

“It’s not really something that is new. It’s not a home that is brand new to me. I’m excited and delighted. I can’t wait to wear the blue and white shirt.”

Ndlovu says he wants to be part of the history that their ‘ambitious’ coach Gavin Hunt aims to create with the club.

The 58-year-old coach won three league titles and the Nedbank Cup with the Swanky Boys in his first stint before he left them for Bidvest Wits in 2013.

“We have a coach who is a winner. A coach who is ambitious. SuperSport has won a lot of trophies in the last seven years and I want to be a pot of that history, I want to make history with SuperSport United,” Ndlovu added.

“I’d really like tp say to the supporters, let them support the team. Let them keep pushing us and that they should come in numbers. We’re hoping for greater things. We’re hoping to finish as high as possible in the league.”
