Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm in places in the Lowveld. It will become cloudy in the east in the evening with a chance of drizzle along the escarpment.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy in the south-east in the evening.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool, but warm in the north-east.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool, becoming partly cloudy in the east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and very cold to cold in the west, otherwise fine and cool to cold.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Isolated showers along the south coast in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool becoming fine from the west by the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly north of Cape Agulhas, otherwise moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly becoming light to moderate south-westerly by the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Partly cloudy and cold, with isolated light showers along the coast, becoming cloudy in the south in the afternoon.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly, becoming south-westerly in the afternoon.

The Eastern half -Partly cloudy in the north-west and south-west, otherwise cloudy and cold with a chance of light rain in places along the coast and in the south-east, clearing from the west.

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered along the coast and adjacent interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly to southerly.
