President Muhammadu Buhari returned Wednesday to his home town of Daura, where a large cheerful crowd welcomed him as he walked through street from the helipad.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk made his way through the crowd of people gathered around the president to welcome him.
A seemingly cheerful crowd chanted “baba ya da wo, Baba oyoyo” interpreted as “baba is back, welcome home”, as they accompany him.
The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman had earlier welcomed the president before he was airborne in a chopper to Daura.
