The equities market losses N45 billion to close at N12,188 trillion at the end of trading activities yesterday.
The NSE All Share Index (ASI) reduced by -0.37 per cent to close at 35,488.81 basis points compared to +0.85 per cent increase recorded the year before. The Year-to-Date (YTD) stands presently at +31.57 per cent.
The market size closed flat as FIDSON led 19 Gainers as against 19 Losers which was topped by JAIZBANK at the end of today’s session. This was much better in performance than the previous outcome.
The market turnover is in the negative with the volume reduced by -44.25 per cent compared to -55.22% the previous year. Those who boosted the market turnover are MEYER, FCMB, NIGERINS, NESTLE and ZENITHBANK head the market value list.
The trading activities in summary shows that the sum of 107 million shares valued at N1.3 billion, exchanged hands in 2,848 deals.
