Nollywood actress Judith Audu has made her directorial debut with a new short film titled “Mirabel.”
The movie which is Titled “Mirabel” is produced and directed by Nollywood actress Audu. The movie is a version of a poem with the same title which is written by an actor and a TV presenter, Moses Akerele, in which he played the role of Mirabel.
The short movie features different stars in Nollywood such as Omowunmi Dada, Tubosun Aiyedehin, Maimuna Yahya, Naomi Ojochide Yahaya, Chris Iheuwa and Steve Enagbare.
The film gathers a crew of some talented young filmmakers such as Emmanuel Odihiri, Ibikunle ‘Tsaint’ Ibitayo, Seun Afolabi and Osita Ritzy Philip.
About the short Film “Mirabel”
Mirabel is a mild emotional drama about love lost and love found. It follows the lives of two young lovebirds; Shawn and Tonye and how an unwanted pregnancy not only tear their world apart but also lapse their world.
Not accepting the emptiness that comes with separation, Shawn tries to find their love back and bring back their happiness for good five years. Will it get it and will it make any difference?
However, the actress is who is popular for producing “just not married,” Obsession,” and stormy is very excited to show off her talent as a director.
She said in an official statement, “This is a new terrain for me and I’m only too glad to take one responsibility,” “I’ve never been afraid of any challenge so I urge all my fans to look out for this short movie.”
According to the filmmaker, Judith Audu Productions have a lot in store for 2018.
However, there has not been any official release date for the movie.
According to a report, it was revealed that Audu’s “Just Not Married” was chosen as one of the Nigerian movies to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival.
