No fewer than 100 candidates missed the ongoing Unified Tertiary Examination in Adamawa State.
The Adamawa Zonal Coordinator of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Danladi Aliyu confirmed the development during an interview with the News Agency of Nigerian on Monday in Yola.
Aliyu said, since the commencement of the examination last Friday, the affected candidates have not shown up and there was no official complaint from the candidates.
He said “since the examination started a total of 3,115 candidates sat for the examination in five designated centres in the State.
“Also according to records, about 100 candidates failed to show up to write the examination”.
He said the examination was going on smoothly in all five centres across the state without any problem regarding the network.
The centres include Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Federal College of Education, Yola; American University of Nigeria, Yola; Aliyu Mustapha College Yola and the Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola.
Meanwhile, security operatives are seen screening candidates entering the premises of the examination.
