Having already topped its predecessors to become both the highest-grossing instalment in the franchise and the highest-grossing animated film from Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation is celebrating another box office milestone after passing $500 million worldwide this past weekend.
The film, which is directed again by Genndy Taratakovsky and features a voice cast that includes Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez, has grossed $165.3 million domestic, plus a further $337.8 million internationally, for a grand total of $503.1 million and still counting.
Between its three instalments, the Hotel Transylvania franchise has grossed a combined $1.336 billion, and also spawned an animated spinoff series which has recently been renewed for a second season.
