Ahead of the 2019 election, Governor of Kebbi state, Abubakar Bagudu has approved the sum of N724 million for the payment of the 2018 West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examination fees for students of the state’s secondary schools.
The exam fee was approved by the governor on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, when he received members of Security Watch Africa at the government house in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, his administration remains committed to the welfare of the people and quality education with a promise to look into the cases of school leavers’ results that are withheld.
Bagudu, therefore, called on parents and guardians to always trust the government and advise their children to work hard at their studies.
He also applauded the president Muhammadu-led administration on the enabling environment to surmount security challenges.
