Professor Oloyede made this statement while addressing journalists in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria. He emphasized that JAMB has put in place adequate measures to ensure a hitch-free conduct of the examination, despite the forthcoming elections.

The JAMB registrar assured that the board has a robust plan in place to ensure that the examination is conducted without any disruptions, adding that the board has also put in place measures to prevent any form of electoral malpractice during the examination.

It is worth noting that the 2019 general elections in Nigeria are scheduled to hold on February 16, 2019, while the UTME is scheduled to hold from March 16 to March 23, 2019.
