The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday argued that the first 100 days of the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in office is never enough to judge his government.
The opposition party through its Secretary, Board of Trustees (BoT), Senator Walid Jibrin, also maintained that Nigerians should give the administration more time before assessing its performance.
Addressing journalists in Nasarawa, Jibrin held that, “I don’t agree that Buhari is slow and I don’t believe that 100 days are enough to judge anybody or any one in office; it is just for one to start planning very well.
“Let us give him and other leaders up to six months and after that, we could start assessing the administration.”
While calling on President Buhari to be fair to all political parties and individuals in his war against corruption, the senator said, “If President Buhari decides to probe some individuals both in the All Progressives Congress and PDP, so be it. I will support him if he is doing the right thing for the betterment of the society.”
