Nigerian musician and song-writer, Olawale Ashimi, best known as Brymo, is set to release his sixth studio, his ‘strongest work till date’ this month.

The album, titled “Oso”, will be released on the 27th of March.

The album includes stand out songs like the rhythmic ‘No Be Me’, the reflective ‘God Is In Your Mind’ inspired by the work of a Ghanaian fine artist; where Brymo brought his vocal prowess accompanied by strong guitar-riff by David Ubani, and to the soulful ‘Bá’núsọ.

OṢÓ will be released March 27, and it is already available for pre-order.

The album will also be followed by a book launch and concert which will take place in April.

In the words on the project’s site, “OṢÓ” (which loosely translates from Yoruba to English as “Wizard”) shows Brymo’s inclination to develop his art.  Brymo brought to class, growth, and maturity to the table with this body of work.

“Dedicated to keeping his art sacred, Brymo has blessed listeners with his strongest work till date – an atmospheric, introspective set that’s built on masterful songwriting, philosophy and rhythm.

“From the rhythmic “No Be Me”, the reflective “God is In Your Mind” inspired by the work of a Ghanaian fine artist; where Brymo brought his vocal prowess accompanied by strong guitar-riff by David Ubani, and to the soulful “Bá’núsọ”; OṢÓ is Brymo embracing his destiny as Africa’s leading figure in the arts!”
