As a move to Manchester United edges closer for Alexis Sanchez, details have emerged about his potential earnings.
Arsenal’s Chile striker is expected to complete a move to Old Trafford in the coming days with some reports in Chile claiming it could go through on Thursday.
There has been plenty of talk about how much he will earn and how much the deal will cost.
Manchester City pulled out of the race to sign him because of they felt the transfer fee and his wage demands were too high.
But United appear happy to pay the £35million Arsenal are said to be demanding, plus a signing-on fee and fees for his agent.
But it is not those figures that have got everyone talking.
Reports in The Telegraph claim Sanchez will to become United’s highest earning player on £14million a year AFTER tax.
That’s much more than first anticipated and The Mirror report it would mean he would earn 80p a second.
