A suspected ritualist and member of a kidnap gang, Felix Nnalu Chiabogwu, was recently nabbed by the Police in Delta State Nigeria.
The Nnalu was arrested in Abavo bearing two bags of garri covering kegs containing human remains preserved in a liquid.
Delta State PPRO, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka stated that Chiabogwu was rounded up in the night on Sunday.
It was reported that the suspect is a member of a syndicate whose place of operation is in Amai and that the criminal was accosted while trying to depart for Lagos.
Aniamaka said: “The arrest is connected to the investigation of cases of missing persons in the intractable land disputes between Umuebu/Amai/Eziokpo /Obiaruku communities in Ukwuani area.
“In his possession, we found, concealed in two bags of garri, two four-litre jerry cans stocked with substances suspected to be human parts in a preservative fluid.
“The investigation is ongoing to unravel other members of the syndicate”.
