Here's a sample of a news casting script:

Breaking News

[Urgent music plays]

Announcer: "Breaking news, we have just received word of a major development in the ongoing investigation into the recent string of bank robberies in the city. According to sources close to the investigation, police have apprehended a suspect in connection with the crimes."

[Cut to a live shot of the news anchor]

Anchor: "Good evening, I'm [Name], and this is [News Program]. We're coming to you live with the latest on this developing story. Our top story tonight: the suspect, identified as 32-year-old John Doe, was taken into custody earlier today after a high-speed chase through the city streets."

[Cut to a graphic with the headline "Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended"]

Anchor: "According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was seen fleeing the scene of the latest robbery in a stolen vehicle. Police pursued the vehicle, and after a brief chase, the suspect was forced to stop and surrender."
