The Board of Arsenal Football Club of London has agreed a contract extension with the embattled manager of the Club, Arsene Wenger, for another two years.

The Frenchman, who is the longest serving manager in the history of the 131-year-old London-based club, has been at the receiving end of flakes from a section of the fans recently for his inability to win the premiership title for the past 13 years with many calling for his sack.

However, the board of the Arsenal FC, after its meeting in London this afternoon has decided to put their faith in the Club’s most successful manager by extending his contract for another two years.

This decision has been received with mixed reactions from the fans, some of whom hailed the call, whilst others berated it.
